Mad Hatter Tea Party , "2015 " DIY and Collectables - Photo's

These are items that I collected or DIY made.  For My Mad Hatter Tea Party. It took 2 months to prepare for this. It was a great undertaking by myself for the most part. But worth every minute.  This is the first of several blogs i did to show The results. The Bottle is one I saved back, and hand painted some flowers on.

This White Queen I found at Goodwill along with the other chess pieces. It must of been a patio chess set. they were  hand made possible too. They are made of ceramic.
These chess pieces I repainted a bit to match my theme.

Lewis Carroll, I found this tiny frame at a yard sale, I printed his photo off the internet.

The Red Queen also had some paint and the quote card I printed out as well along with many others for my table

This pretty paper flower and card I made. The cards can be printed of the computer I just searched for images I likes that fit my theme.

This is my rabbit hole. On the wooded trail there were lots of trees so we took branches formed a circle shape between two  trees along the path so you had to walk through to continue the journey. I marked it with print outs as well the entire trail is marked with cards before this rabbit hole. After you walk threw its all flowers fantasy flowers I made.

This is the arrow that points you threw the rabbit hole

This set  a bit past he entrance of the rabbit hole after you went through it marked a comer of to he trail.  I made both items here. The little door was a piece of wood I had already. I added a drawer pull I found at a shop. The potion bottle I had I just decorated it. The Quote card I  I used quote from the book.

This is the first direction when you enter the path at the very beginning of this adventure. Total trail length !/4 mile of wooded trail.   I printed this off the internet too.

A lovely hand made paper flower, I used buttons for the centers on all of them

Here is a tube full of my flowers I think I made close to 200
Lots of beautiful paper flowers

I really loved these they came out spectacular. You can find DIY instructions on the internet , Pinterest, or even by print out kits on Esty, I got one.

Mad Hatter Tea Party 2015 DIY

I July 2015 I had a Mad Hatter tea party. Or my idea of one any way. I invited my girl friend.    I set it up about 1/4th of a mile down in the woods in a spot I hand picked. for 2 months I made paper flowers download tempelets for place cards and  a trail makers for the woods. i searched my storage for unique pretty's and Alice in wonderland themed items. My husband used logs for the table legs and a sheet of ply board for the top. Now  that was heavy to pack. I painted ceramic chess pieces and searched for tea pots. I had the antique chairs I framed a small picture of Lewis Carroll as well so he could join us.

Treasures of Tuatha De Danann

Gifts  to the people from the Tuatha De Danann

The Elemental gifts comprise of four directional energies and four ‘Faery Instruments.
The Four Treasures of the Tuatha De Danann, give you the ability to anchor these energies in the landscape as Matrices of light.

The Stone;
 is used to channel more directional energies. When working stone circles is to access memories and knowledge that are in the stone. Such stones can be used for fertility points to hold the energies in the earth so that the energy flows in the right direction.

The Sword;
 is used as an acupuncture needle and can be used with earth, air, fire, and water, depending on what work is required at a site and on which level it is required. It is used as a symbolic opening, or closing, of earth vortices. It can anchor solar light, open points beneath water, anchor solar energies in water or the land, etc. (Think of Arthur when he loosed the sword from the stone!) To my mind, he was showing that he was a proficient energy worker, and able to do this work of opening sacred places. It wasn’t a physical sword but an energetic one!

The Spear;
 is used as a channel for more directed energies. When a stone, which is supposed to act as a feeder stone, channelling solar energies into a stone circle, has been disrupted, the use of the spear can make the circle whole again by  binding together the stones as if all were still there and functioning as a whole.

The Cup, or Cauldron;
is the ‘holder’ of vital feminine energies in the landscape. It is the wisdom and knowledge of the Divine Feminine and the nurturing energies of water for healing and life.

The four treasures, which are ‘gifted’ to people are the Harp, the Pipe, the Drum and the Horn. Once you have received one of these gifts, in energetic form, you are then gifted with the ability to use their energies when doing earthwork. When you have received one of these gifts, you will find yourself using them without any conscious intention of doing so. When a site needs these energies you will see them happen, all by themselves. They
bring Nature back to a harmonious relationship with human beings.

Harp;
 It gives you the ability to change the vibration of atmospheres in nature.

The Pipe  ( Three holed flute)
is used to change the colour frequencies in certain locations
Putting a place of calm, healing nature where once was greed, power and destruction.

Horn;
Receiving the Horn is like getting the Elementals  phone number.

The Drum;
 is more earth - centered. It brings the deeper tones of the earth into balance
They remind you of your connection to the balancing forces of nature beneath your feet.

(Had to use a picture of the horn from Narnia)

               The  Tuatha De Danann

The Tuath(aDé Danann  meaning "the folk of the goddess (Danu), also known by the earlier name Tuath Dé ("tribe of the gods"), are a supernatural race in Irish Mythology

Tuatha Dé Danann constitute a pantheon  whose attributes appeared in a number of forms throughout the Celtic world.

The Tuath Dé Danann dwell in the Otherworld ( i think they dwell everywhere they can live, but just in another part of our dimension) but interact with humans and the human world. They are associated with ancient passage tombs such as Bru  na  Boinne, which were seen as portals to the Otherworld. Their traditional rivals are the Formorians , who seem to represent the harmful or destructive powers of nature. . Each member of the Tuath Dé has associations with a particular feature of life or nature, but many appear to have more than one association. Many also have by-names, some representing different aspects of the deity and others being regional names or epithets.

The four treasures (or jewels) of the Tuatha Dé Danann

The  Lebor Gabala, dating to the eleventh century, states that it was brought in antiquity by the semi-divine race known as the Tuatha De Danann. They had travelled to the "Northern Isles" where they learned many skills and magic in its four cities Falias, Gorias, Murias and Findias. From there they travelled to Ireland bringing with them a treasure from each city – the   four legendary treasures of Ireland. From Falias came the Lia Fai. The other three treasures are the  Claiomh Solais or Sword of Light, the Slea Buaor  Spear of Lugh and the Coire Dagdae or The Dagda's Cauldren

The Lia Fáil ; meaning Stone of Destiny (or also "Speaking Stone" to account for its oracular legend . There are several different, and conflicting, legends

Claiomh Solais
Sword of light, The sword has been regarded as a legacy to the god-slaying weapons of Irish mythology  by certain scholars.  the analogues being the primeval Celtic deity's lightning - weapon

 Sleg Of Lugh's bloodthirsty magical spear, described Lugh's spear (sleg), according to the text of The Four Jewels of the Tuatha De Danann was said to be impossible to overcome

The Dagda is an important god in Irish Mythology.One of the Tuathe De danann the Dagda is portrayed as a father-figure, king, and  druid He is associated with  manliness and strength, as well as magic, druidry and wisdom. He can control life and death,  the weather and crops, as well as time and the seasons

A extra tid bit on this subject , I actually have a photo of some little people standing with a chest, and one with a small person  (a man) that appears to have a sword? I'll find these photo's, I have over 3000 so it takes time, but I guess that tells me I need to be more organized.. LOL

Forests: Fables, Folk Stories and Fairytales

                               Forests; Fables, Folk Stories, and Fairytales

Most of our woodland here is of the evergreen variety; Fir, Cedar,  and Spruce. Real fairytale forests, where the light is dim and the ground is soft and velvety with mosses and deep, deep layers of dropped needles. There’s a kind of silence that’s very particular to a Coniferous forest. The low boughs and thick carpeting deadening any outside noise. All you’ll hear is the odd crack of a breaking branch or the call of a bird. There’s an atmosphere very specific to this type of woodland. For those who spent time alone in  a forest such as these they have seen what I've seen. Thus these truths were  created into story's. Stories  that are centered in forests are those where adventures unfold amongst the trees:

The Wind in the Willows springs to mind. Who could resist the beautifully  - illustrated storybooks of childhood ; Jill Barklem’s -  Brambly Hedge books, Winnie the Pooh,  or The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,lets not forget Beatrice Potter.

My favorite forest in a story, Mid Summer Nights Dream, By William Shakespeare

A Midsummer Night's Dream

1935 ‧ Romance/Comedy ‧ 2h 25m
watch it if you get a chance its magical.

Narnia
Something cold and soft was falling on her. A moment later (Lucy) found she was standing in the middle of a wood at night time with snow under her feet and snowflakes falling through the air.
C.S. Lewis (1950)

The Enchanted Wood
Loomed up big and dark. The trees spoke to  one another softly. Wisha, wisha, wisha," they said.
Enid Blyton "The Magical Faraway Tree (1943)

The Forbidden Forest
They walked for nearly and hour, deeper and deeper into the forest, until the path almost  impossible to follow because the trees were so thick.
JK Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (1997)

The forests of Middle Earth
There was a silence, for suddenly the dark and unknown forest, so near at hand, made its self felt as a great brooding presence full of secret purpose.
JRR Tolkien, The Two Towers (1954)

Red Riding Hoods, wolf infested forest
She ran off the path into the woods looking for flowers. each time she picked one
she thought she saw a more beautiful one a little ways away off and ran after it, going farther and farther into woods.
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm (1812)

PHOTO OF BIGFOOT BY ACCIDENT

Went looking for shed elk horns in the mountains this last week end, I found some but they were in use for the moment. LOL !  So I took a photo. When reviewing I found some interesting beings in the back ground . Bigfoot. To my surprise. I was not expecting it. Although I have other photos. I was really not looking to photograph them that  day. Some time I'll post some of my best photos of the wild tribe.. Just thought I would share. I did get a new ghostly image photo on the trip.

Sweet Fairy Photo

This photo I posted earlier,. It is truly amazing. I cropped it out of a larger image, and applied a blue filter so detail is easier to see.
It appears to be two Fairy's, a boy, and a girl. I'm going off the type of clothes. It just looks sweet, and sensitive not sure what's going on, but I got the feeling of kindness between the two. I had sat in this location about forty minutes. This day was overcast, and quite dark in the forest. Very quiet that day but comfortable, and not to cold. I love this picture it's my second favorite that I've taken. Enjoy

Fairytales VS Real Fairys

So let's start at the beginning. Fact turns to lore, then legend, then Myth. If one takes the time to back track all Myth has a factual beginning of some sort.
As a child I read all the classics author's Lewis carol, CS Lewis, Tolkien, children's story's like Bambi, ect. Then movies oh the movies; Mid Summer's Night Dream,(good old Shakespeare), Willow, The Dark Crystal, Legend,and many more.
.
The beings, Fairy's  and other creatures, are just like what I'm seeing and taking photos of. I get a glimpse of movement, and I center my video camera or camera on that area and get film. I could not believe the similarities, of what I see in photos to those in movies and old stories. At first I was dumb founded, I new no one would believe me. I also new I could not keep this to myself. The knowing gives me such a relief. I always new it was real.
 I was a wild wood child spent most of my days alone out doors in the woods playing with what ever came my way. So I had real life experience in strange, and usual sightings. My first Sasquatch person sightings  , I was 9 years old. Yep.
 All the photos are untouched other than cropped out of my larger image, or brighten up so more details can be seen. Some are harder to see as I really cropped them so viewing would be easier. When I have room I  will put  the untouched image with cropped out piece together so you can see image  in total.
So think about those sketches,  and images in those fantasy movies & books. When you look at the  current photos &  future ones I think you will be surprised.
I was. A side note: The method I use to photograph these beings is  unconventional. I was schooled in photography, but I moved out of that box and experimented until I found a way through the dimensional veils.  Make know mistake this is not easy to get any viewable images. I feel blessed with what I've achieved so far. I continue to photograph.

Real Fairy Photos

 Solitary Fairy's

A tiny fae that graced me while I sat, and waited for some company . The little dear was on the tree limb for some time. The pink object manifested, and he floated / flew away.

This Solitary Fairy peaked at me for some time did not do anything  --  just peaked.

This cutie  I found in a still shot I took there are
other shadow figure's  around her it looks like.

Last I chose this photo  I took with my night vision camera, I 'm
guessing a solitary fairy although he looks like a gnome from a fairytale. In my next blog  post it will look at fairy tales, and what I've see,  and how I think it all  comes full circle.
