Sigh off Or Rip Off

No other western country in the world disconnects its analog signal completely. They just add digital... Why do I care? I have a satellite TV signal --> Yes! But I also have, and use the analog TV signal as well. For many years I depended on analog for news, and weather reports as well as the EBS (emergency broad cast system). Especially during storm, and power outage. I still have one TV set for analog reception and used it everyday.
There is an underlined reason for this change --> make no mistake…

Yes, I got my “SPECIAL” conversion box. Paid for it too--- last January. Just to find out a month ago that most networks will not come up with the use of it. The digital signal just does not carry as far, and does not get to certain areas of the country. Well at 9 am Friday it went off, and I checked my TV --> reprogrammed with this new converter box... Well Yippee it worked. I get 6 religious channels, and channel 13 which is also owned & operated by a religious group... I do not watch it due to the biased news reporting they offer. No CBS, ABC, or NBC & no PBS. We use to get 11 stations total. Now 7 --> all religion backed. Make no mistake the programming on both satellite (cable) and analog signal is pathetic. But the point is freedom for me to watch what I choose, and not be force fed the info that someone else chooses, and deciding what news I need to know with their spin on it as icing... So they destroy Radio broadcasting many years ago--- Now TV availability.
So where does that leave the Americans, and Canadians who like to choose what they watch and listen to... Well no were. I believe this is one more forced control on the American people. I believe people better stand up soon, heck this is a major control of a large population --> limiting its populous to information, and real time current events around the country & world. It may well be too late to stand up. I did a research paper at university years ago on “Technology and Society”. Our government and the big five pushed the tech world on to the populous as a big money making venture. So badly that people discarded the old ways of life. <-- Honest communication One on one.. Now with the huge population of the US. technology is almost a necessity. One needs to keep informed on the state of this country in all parts. I am wondering what the 80 percent of the USA population that does not have cable are doing? How much of that 80 percent are even able to get a signal with this box, and how many even could have afforded one? Oh yes the federal coupon… Still you had to peel out 20 bucks + of your own money to get one... Figure 800 hundred thousand X 20 bucks. 800,000 --> that’s just the latest number of people who called the FCC the first 24 hours after the shut off. = 14 million dollars--> now that a piece of change... That’s not factoring in those who paid from 60 to 80 dollars for this box, or the total amount sold...
Sounds like a scam to me. Someone is making a lot of money while they are force feeding us there bad decisions.

Electoral College: When American voters go to the polls to vote for president, many believe that they are participating in a direct election of the president. Technically, this is not the case, due to the existence of the electoral college, a constitutional relic of the 18th century. The electoral college is the name given a group of "electors" who are nominated by party members within the states. On election day, these electors, pledged to one or another candidate, are popularly elected. In December, following the presidential vote, the electors meet in their respective state capitals and cast ballots for president and vice president. To be elected, a president requires 270 electoral votes.

So you say, WHAT.. My vote does not count? So how easy is it to buy off 538 electorates? Well just think about how much money these candidates and their backers are putting in to their campaigns? Being a electorate sounds like another government position to be in if you want to get rich!! Out of 300 million American citizens .. This bunch is all this country can come up with?? Nope ! they were hand picked by those that control this country!!

Hard to believe there are laws to protect us SO trusting compliant citizens from this RIF RAFF.. Too bad they will never be prosecuted!!

"A faithless elector" ; is one who casts an electoral vote for someone other than whom they have pledged to elect, or who refuses to vote for any candidate. There are laws to punish faithless electors in 24 states. In 1952, the constitutionality of state pledge laws was brought before the Supreme Court in Ray v. Blair, 343 U.S. 214 (1952). The Court ruled in favor of state laws requiring electors to pledge to vote for the winning candidate, as well as removing electors who refuse to pledge. Halloween is going to stink this year !!

Hi to all, Well did anyone watch our Presidents news conference about the financial state here in the USA on October 7th..

Well to sum it up. He insulted a man asking or basically pleading for him to fix this current financial situation so he could help his wife continue her business.
Well we got the expected answer.. Quote George W. Bush Jr.... "Oh that was smart"( Insinuating about his wife's business & that when it fails it was not his business but his wife's..
Then quote: "It has just occurred to me how important credit is to the consumers of the country!"

This man George W. Bush Jr. ignorance just astounds me. He was rude , unkind and had a hint of prejudice in the way he spoke to this citizen. This mans wife would not even speak I think she wanted to kick him in the balls!! I am scared to death as to what is going to happen when this man, and his thugs leave the office. Most of his entourage have separated themselves from him by resignation beginning three years ago..

We now know some of the financial fleecing this country has taken from this administration. Stealing every thing that they could, or had access to. But I fear the worst will be revealed when they all bail out of DC very soon!!

So let he be known for these famous last words with 28 days left in office:

"It has JUST occurred to me how important credit is to the consumers of this country"

Posers

Well the month is October, and Halloween is soon to be here-> Night of Masks. So what better month then this to write a blog entry on “Posers” (one who projects themselves, and their life as something it is not).

The way I see it being a Poser’s can be used in a selfless way, or it can be used to harm others.
I wonder sometimes who all the bloggers in the world really are? The politicians, Religious leaders? Are they really whom they project out to the world to see? I know for myself my blog, and poetry writing is a vessel for me. Through writing I portray a life that I would love to have but in reality it’s just is not true. I truly wish that happiness, and security was a reality for me but it is not.
So why do Posers do what they do? Maybe to make others feel good. So they do not worry about their friend or family member? Or maybe the black side of Posing->Many Politicians tell us what they think we want to hear. Maybe some of them actually believe it could someday be true? Or maybe they just use their "Pose" as a control? That’s a power that Religious leaders, and Politicians have over large groups of people.
Posers are in all parts of our lives; relationships, teachers, & family. So with an election year upon us its time we all here in the USA stop, and take a real look at those who represents US, and makes OUR choices for US. These choices affect everything around us, and the world view of the USA. (Take note of the state of the world view currently)

Our Schools, Church groups...The question one really needs to be asking is who are the people who are the founders of these groups. Are schools really providing an equal education? Are all students given all the information about educational options?? Who in our schools decides, and police’s the social situation in our schools..? Who are these people in public office that work, and decide for us what is right and best. Are the ministers, pastors, rabbi’s, and priests really the upstanding humans’ beings they represent to the world every day? Do they really use our good faith and financial gain to provide for the helpless, needy, and lost souls like they proclaim. In other words do they practice what they preach, and if so where is the documentation? Do they share with the congregations how, and whom benefited from our good faith, and money!!

I have many more questions about Poser’s but I hope at the end of my journey I do not find that all those whom the good people have put their faith in were not all from one collective organization using the goodness and trust of our people for personal gain.

So think about what I have said here or mostly implied.. Something is very wrong in our society very wrong.. I believe the results of this are just now starting to rear its ugly head.

Bee's version of a Post it Note!

Due to the latest on the stock market collapse , and our governments tactics of "mums the word" on the Real financial status of the country that will effect the 80 % of the American population that live below the current cost of living range -- NOT the 20 % that are "OUR" financial benefactors. No matter how many of President Bush's staff slowly slip away to get out of his shadow, I believe he will not leave office before his financial fleecing of this country catches up with him.. I think he miscalculated the trickle down affect of his own groups greed.. As every one below him also grabbed themselves a chunk.. Of America.

One more political financial note.. A national representative for the Saving and Loan Association spoke on the PBS public broadcast Radio last night he stated that the nation wide withdrawal rate for the Savings and Loan insitutions is at 30%. He stated that it has never been that high in their history and that they can not withstand another 2 %. If so it will be devastating to the Savings and Loans Insitutions. He also said that this money is not being recirculated into the financial system?? They are looking into who is collecting this money and not recircultiing it.. Thus starting what use to be called a " RUN" ( If yo do not know what run is watch; " Its a Wonderful Life --with Jimmy Stewart thats what the movie is about( I love that movie))

The National Interest rate is also at a critical place. I learned from a Financial Analyst on a PBS television broad cast that it has not been this low since two years before the stock market crash of the 1920's. This is not good folks.. I new the fleecing of America was going to get bad when Our presedent pushed us into Iraq. Its an old tactic used by goverment for century's..--> "To control large populations you keep them poor and confused."

I have placed a link for a article on the Federal Reserve ( Below) I think everyone should read.. I hated one part of it when the author states that the majority of people will not be able to understand or comprehend what it means..? I hate that !! But I recently read a statistical poll from a cable company that said the 86% of Americans do not have cable or satellite television service.. Which means that are watching
