Well with all the talk of Johnny ( to die for) Depp- In the "Pirates of the Caribbean".. I thought my first blog entry on my antiques and collectibles stash would have to be of my lofty crew.. The Buccaneer+ Polly, the Boatman , The Old Salt, and of course; The Smuggler. They are character wall masks made by The Bosson Company of Congleton, Cheshire, England beginning in 1944, Bossons closed their doors in 1996. These particular wall masks are dating from the fifties . Bossons were very famous for their animal sculpts and Dickens as well as several others..
