Wow, Again I can not believe the response to my blog..

I also want to apologize for being lax the last 7 months.. I have had so much physical work to do here on my property I have been just tired out... I have come a long way to completing projects outdoors and my list keeps getting shorter.. So that is good news for the new year.. Still some things to do and to finish, but that's OK--> I see light at the end of the tunnel .. I am not getting any younger, and I feel age creeping in to my bones with every month that passes so bear with me. :-=)

My Halloween swap gift

Hi to all, had to share... This is the swap gift I received from my fairy friend Stormfairy. We had a little Halloween fun early with a fairy Halloween swap.. This is a personalized fairy house diorama, including my recent fairy ring!!! It is truly amazing with such detail.. ghosts, gargoyles, Dracula, scare crow, bats, beehive, ect.. Even a bee on my roof.. It is so fun to look at.. I will always treasure it..

This diorama was a challenge to photograph.. So I apologise for any hazing imaging..

A Special Gift

Hi to all, I received a very special surprise from a Dragon via post some time ago.. I am quite amazed at this lovely lovely Bee. It is so sparkly I had trouble getting a good photo. Took some time -->it really did! I wish this was clearer so you can see all the crystals in the wings. This bee is a "watch". You open it up from the jeweled body to reveal its secret clock.. It was made by a company called" Creature & CO.

It is a necklace watch that I will treasure always..

My Mother's Day Lilly

Hi to all This is the beautiful Lily I bought myself for Mother's Day... I put in in my green house, and this morning the whole building smelled so spectacular.. I just stayed in there, and breathed deep!!!!

Puppy Update

Hi to all, Well believe it or not my puppies are six months old this month.. My gosh times flies! They are both very different, but very much the same... :-) Sunny he has taken on his role of the guardian--> herding his mom in and out of the house, and ever so watchful when I am outside.. He also likes reprimanding Kayla as she has a memory of convenience when it comes to --> the No NO things.. Sunny takes it upon himself to discipline her when he sees her misbehaving~~ :-) Really Funny to watch!!

Leash broke, potty trained, catching balls, and learning all the boundary's. Doing well with all that considering their age. Well that's the update.. They are loving the spring weather, and seeing all the birds ect.. Very intriguing to them especially the Canadian geese..

Hi to all, I had to post these pictures.. Right before my birthday (11-10 ) I received a unexpected box in the mail---Not the first either ! ( I'm so lucky to have wonderful friends) Anyway inside was this wonderful surprise.. A real Bee-Pot !! Thanks Casdo

Several weeks before this I received another surprise box in the mail.. It include a lovely miniature china Bee -Set.. I will not picture it here as I plan on having a real Bee - Party with this 13 piece set. In the spring.. So you will have to wait to see that.. The box also include a bee wind sock and other surprises.. Thanks Brite!

I also received several lovely surprises including some beautiful paper and birthday cards from some fantastic fairy friends.. Thanks to you all..

Hi to all, The weather is changing here at Ravenswood.. I feel the crisp air more each day. With the garden clean up left to do, and other domestic chores ==> I have over done again!! I have not been feeling well so hubby took me shopping..

Jeez how did he know?

He bought me this beautiful example of fall colors in the form of two dozen roses. I also received another gift about two weeks ago. I had entered a poem into the 2007 International Society of Poets Convention and Symposium. I was invited but alas I cannot attend.. I entered the poem below in July as I was asked to Fed- X in something by my publisher.. I liked this poem so off it went.. In the mail two weeks ago I received this lovely trophy for "Poet of Merit".. It is lovely -- it really is. The blue globe has the images engraved on it and it is so nice. It seems to be a artistic rendition of a hand holding the world.. Anyway I was VERY surprised, very much so!! Anyway I had to share.. Kim told me too!!!! Your a dear Kim!!

I am feeling very luck today !!

Hi all, I realize I have been one of the missing or at least not to active recently. Well I have been a little down in the dumps.. Long story but that's the facts.. Today I made my journey to the post box.. Been a couple weeks--> sad but true.. I found beneath all the bills that I had three lovely surprises. Two letters an a lovely silver angel wings tac pin from Kirks Folly -->from a unknown source?? The first letter was from my friend "Dragon" in the UK.. A sweet and heartfelt card full of dragon kisses from across the pond.. The second was from another friend here in the states "Silvercate "and she so thoughtfully send a surprise of the cutest bee stickers. So sparkling an bright in color.. (I post them here.) I really needed some cheering up and all of these unexpected surprises did the trick. I think I can sleep well tonight knowing I have such wonderful and caring friends..

On another note, as a means to cheer myself up I did some early Christmas shopping for my three grand daughters. The oldest is having a B-day end of July. So I got something for her B-day as well..
The shopping task is books in this case. I bought-->

• Flower Fairies sticker book,
• My first numbers-Fairyland book,
• Flower Fairies activity books set of three,
• The Tooth Fairy and other stories from the Forest Fairies,
• VHS tape called "Kristen's Fairy House".

Has anyone seen this.. It has won several parenting awards?? It looks lovely as well.. I can say these are the most beautiful books.. If you have young ones or someone young at heart -->>PLEASE check these out I bought them from E-fairies.com the link is in my side bar under favorite shopping spots. I am very impressed!!!

A Special Surprise

Hi to all my blogger's.. and faithful readers..

Well Mother's Day was the some ole thing again this year. Not a word from my son or granddaughters.. But my hubby went out the day before and went Antiquing.. He brought me this special little gift for Mothers Day.. He called it a" The Fairy Magic Tea Pot".. The magic is when I serve myself tea from it ,the tea gives you a special sense of happiness.. It is sterling silver and jade with traditional cloisonne apple flower *~*floral painting.. There is a little frog on the handle and the sweetest monkey guarding the lid.. It is 4 1/2 inchs tall..

A Cool Card I bought

Hi To All, This is a photo of a card I bought a while back.. It is entitled
" The Beekeepers"..
I thought it had a kind of Goth look to it.. I really liked it!!
So different!!
I survived the Bee boxing last week end.. All hives are good to go.. All but my back!! I have been suffering from a sore back and wrists .. I just have to over do it every time the sun comes out.. I really know better. Now what I have to do is--> not do the same thing next year.. So off i go to my heating pad!!

Winter Surprises

Winter Surprises.. That is a recently coined phrase by my dear friend Shamrock.. I think EVERYBODY NEEDS ONE!!! It truly made my week...Yes, I had wonderful surprises awaiting in the post this last week.. The Beautiful bee ornament was sent to me bymy friend Shamrock. Is this Queen Bee not talented ?*~*Powering that daisy umbrella with her sparkling wings.. And that sparkling eye shadow.. Shamrocks been peaking in my make -up drawer<--:-) The card above was sent to me by my lovely UK fairy friend Freespirit. The card was hand made by her with a technique called "iris", and the little bee in the center was done with a technique call "quiling".. I plan to try the "iris" technique... Anyway this card is beautiful inside and out and has a most wonderful spring theme.. The mermaid covered box is a gift to --->myself<---bad bee<--- :-) I could not resist.. My powder room still needs more color!!!!! Anyway Thank - You dears.. I will treasure these winter surprises always!!! Sparkling light to you all Bee

Hi all, Well I think I am past the worst of this nasty flu bug I have so graciousely picked up?

Here are some photo's I finally got of a lovely surprise I received in the mail from a dear fairy friend Enchantress.. Needless to say I was over whelmed by her generosity and of course her lovely taste in the "SPARKLES"!!! The frame is KF of course & the picture is one of my Harrison Fisher girls. If you all remember a blog some time ago?? By the way that print is called "Fair Exhibit".

I am not sure if the pictures reflect it or not but these sparkling bees protect a jewel that is the same color as fresh honey in the hive.. I was really set back by that---> But LOVE IT.. I will be the envy at the bee round up in April.. :-) This lovely pin and earring set will be the hit of the round up.. Thank you again Enchantress I truly love them !!
